Do I need a race licence?
No, you don't need a BC day licence to race in this event as it is run under BC's MTB regs.

What type of bike can I use?
You can use any suitable bike. If you have a specific gravel bike then that's ideal. If not then a cyclo-cross or mountain bike would be a good alternative.
What is the entry fee used for?
The event is being organised by the Destination Bike Race Team.
The money we receive from your entry fees will be spent on: venue hire, British Cyling levy (which covers support services, event insurance, registration...), British Cycling commissaire expenses, course signage and tape, race timing, numbers, toilets, marshals, PA & commentary, first aid, prizes and other expenses.
If we have any profits leftover this will be used to help support riders in the team and enable us to look at promoting other events.
